USC MFA - Film and Television Production - Fall 2025 (3 Viewers)

I don't know if this method will work for those of you who are still waiting (since the way they're handling admissions this year seems totally different than in the past), but It's worth a shot.

In previous years, threads on here shared this link:

If you're able to log into that, it means you are in the system and have been accepted. People usually gained access to it 1-2 days before their acceptance letter was posted. If it shoots you straight to the youSC portal, it means you don't have access yet.

Those who are waitlisted or rejected don't gain access, only those that are accepted. Once someone moves from waitlisted to accepted, then they will gain access.

Again, things seem to be operating differently this year for USC...so who the heck knows...but it's worth giving it a shot.

I hope all of you can log in!

Unfortunately, no, it took me to my portal. Hope they haven't posed the acceptance yet but it seems unlikely. Anyway, it's kinda expected, as I didn't even get interviewed.

Did anyone else who got wait listed get told that if they did not get off the wait list for Fall 2025 they would be accepted Jan 2026? AKA simultaneously accepted for Spring semester but wait listed for fall?? Kind of weird.

Yeah, that’s why I’m so excited. Production is the only program that seems to operate that way within SCA. We are in no matter what, it’s just a matter of when we will start.

Does that mean to stay an extra semester?

This year is so different tbh. It seems like international students got the acceptance notifactions already but idk about domestic students.
But all acceptances should come out today.

Are all the people who got in international students or is someone domestic?

It seems like the way it's going is international students get their notifications in the middle of the night/early morning and domestic get the notification in the afternoon which makes sense for possible time difference but again not 100% sure.
