Not really an update, but yesterday I got a mail from Mr. Brian Hostenske, a rather pleasant individual from what I gathered on the virtual meets, saying that a link of mine wasn't working. So I guess they're at it....
Anybody else have any communication with'em?

Good to know, I also applied for directing but the links on Vimeo haven’t shown any views via the analytics, so seems like they haven’t gotten to mine yet

They always push on the fact that they, including USC as well, use a thirdparty software because of which the views don't reflect. I don't understand, but that's just how it is.

Ah that’s right, I totally forgot about that! Well, hopefully you got your link working - from previous application reports on here, AFI seems to notify people about interviews around 1/20-1/23, so we will know soon enough what the status of things looks like

Vimeo Analytics showing that my directing assignment, moving image sample, and video introduction were all viewed on a desktop at some point today....so it seems like the process is well under way

Anyone else seeing views on their stuff? I have 1 view on each of my visual materials (3 total) and they were all watched 100% of the way through. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing anything similar or if their videos are getting multiple views or whatnot.

Maybe the view means they've loaded it into their third party system?

FWIW my analytics now show every video I submitted was viewed a second time. So maybe they don't operate from that system anymore? Or if they do, maybe it doesn't actually keep the views hidden?

From what I’ve seen in the threads from the last few years, interview notifications seem to get sent out between 1/17-2/3

Yes and the acceptance data page for AFI has the earliest and latest notification dates ranges as well
