Just out of curiosity, does it matter whom you interviewed with? Was this a sort of indication of the chance of getting in?

No, but I'm assuming if the department chair interviews you, you will probably get a call directly from the chair, informing of decisions if you got in. If not, the decision comes by email later. That's the pattern I saw over the past few years. I maybe wrong.

Guys we all need to chill out, we’re stressing a lot and reading too much into it! It’s all gonna work out! We’ll know very soon. The decisions are gonna roll out throughout the month of march so let’s not get worried and keep creating! We all have come pretty far so let’s be proud of that.

I only asked because I haven’t seen any one mention my interviewers names and seems like they’re the ones that call with acceptances.

I’m not stressing out - it’s just fun to have a shared experience of waiting together to find out the big news

this is such a cute sentiment BUTTTTT i do love hypothesizing, discussing, and theorizing with everyone. we're all in the same boat and i love that i'm not the only one anxiously awaiting the news. plsss keep updating the thread! i want to yearn, mourn, and/or celebrate with you all!!

That’s right! I absolutely love the community. We wait together, hopefully work together and then grow together! Fingers crossed now. I know it’s not possible but I really hope all of you get in! We all have worked hard for this and trust me, no matter the result I’m sure you guys are gonna shine in the industry and I’m gonna cross paths with you at the red carpet some day.

Also nothing. All the rejections seemed to have gone out for NYU today. No surprise there for me after not getting an interview.
