Stony Brook Film MFA 2026 (1 Viewer)

Since there hasn’t been a thread started for Stony Brook, I thought I’d start one and see if anyone else has applied. I have been waitlisted for Columbia and got into Brooklyn College Feirstein but Stony Brook has become my number one pick, not only for affordability but it seems to be a program well suited for my interest in making indie film as a writer/director wanting a more intimate classroom setting.

I just interviewed, so I’m waiting to hear back. Would love to talk to anyone else considering Stony Brook as well.

Hiiii Stony Brook is my number one choice, I applied for TV writing MFA there and I applied March 1st and got notified for my interview March 6th and got interviewed March 10th but still haven’t heard any decision yet I’m so nervous I want to get in so badly so I’m on the same boat as you hahahaa
