Received a mail around 2:37 and just got off the call with Eric Mendelsohn, I got into the mfa screenwriting and directing program with a scholarship!

Thank you!! it was from a Columbia uni email by Victoria L. Sheffer. also it was for a zoom call with the link and you could email them back to rearrange the appointment if needed

I have two questions for everyone:
1、For Columbia’s admissions, do they always notify applicants with a Zoom call first? Has anyone received an offer directly without a Zoom call?
2、Are the Zoom call emails all sent out within a single day? If I didn’t receive one yesterday, does that mean I’ve been rejected or waitlisted?

I don’t think they make a call to everyone because it’ll be a nightmare for them to do so in 48 hours. I think they send out the zoom links only to the ones who have scored a scholarship.
