Got rejected. Congrats to y’all who got accepted! I’m planning to apply again this fall
Guys, do you think NYU or AFI is better for someone who wants to become a director?
Well…. That depends on what you want out of a program. From my research, NYU is more voice driven, chaotic, holistic, and indie-oriented. AFI is more craft-driven, structured, specialized, major industry oriented. Also the LA and NYC ecosystems are VERY different.
Yeah I guess that’s why it’s very difficult to choose. If ant of you guys NYU or AFI graduates I’d be very happy to talk! Please dm thanks! I have around 3 weeks to come up with a decision
