Acceptances/Decisions Fall '10

Thats nice considering I don't you but we have never met or spoken before I would simply take everything you say with a grain of salt.

Bitter much.

Wait, just to be clear, was your post legit, Joey? Did you actually get accepted to those places? (well, I'm guessing you got into Stark, not Shark...)

I applied for the screenwriting MFA at three schools for the first time this year:

USC - rejected, early on, not even close.
UCLA - rejected, no interview, not even close.
NYU - waitlisted, close, but no cigar.

I did my undergrad in science and a professional degree in healthcare in Canada. I worked in said profession for 5 years, and lived abroad a couple years while pursuing this most fantastical of pipe dreams. GPA 3.51

Best of luck to all of you who have received acceptances!! And to those who have gotten the big strikeouts, I sympathize because I am there...but at some point we have to get out of our pajamas and soldier on. It's okay we can take the chocolates with us.

So, here it is:

UCLA: Nope.
NYU: Ha!
Columbia College Chicago: Not buying.
Northwestern: Yeah, not so much.
Chapman: Don't call us, we'll call you...sometime, maybe.

and Columbia: Sure, why not? Just don't wreck up the place...

So, i guess I'm an ivy leaguer...

Now how the hell do i pay for it?
