Applying to Schools and Losing My Mind

Hey there everyone,

I'm an Australian Screenwriter, just finishing off the last two months of my honours in a bachelor of Creative Writing.

There are so many options out there for film schools, and my brain is currently swimming in Lacanian psychoanalysis and its applications to narrative (spoiler alert: there are loads!).

I've got a small production team forming up in LA, so I'm looking at USC and UCLA, so I can work with them while doing film school... but I'm also a broke undergrad, and finding out information on international scholarship options seems pretty difficult.

Anyway - excited to get into this! Excited to figure out how US postgrad applications work! Excited to chat to like minded folk!

Lets get into this!

I'm currently applying to MFA programs too, I feel your pain! There is so much do to, and before I know it it'll be time to submit. I'm applying to USC and UCLA as well, along with a LMU and AFI. Good luck with your applications!

Thanks Sam! You too!

Where are you applying from? Are you domestic, or another international body?
