which school exactly... you just said "chicago"(a city full of vibrant action and filming opportunity I might add- clsoe to a lake and all)
Northwestern is supposed to have as great film program with great prestige, freedom, writing classes for good scripts and great access to equipment.

All my life I have been lucky- I wonder how long this streak will go and If it will make me famous *wink wink*

I'm going to assume that you are referring to Columbia College chicago (www.colum.edu) which is actually the largest film program in the country with one of the highest rates for job placement in the country. Every single teacher there is a working professional in their field. PLanning to transfer there myself in two years.

the prob is that i will stay in chicago only for 3 months, so i need a school which offers workshops and courses like the "chicagofilmmakers - school" does it!
or does anybody know another school?
