Emerson or Ithaca for BA?

My DD has been accepted to the film programs at Emerson College and Ithaca College. she was waitlisted at Chapman, Syracuse and NYU but not counting on any of those The costs are comparable but Emerson gave a bit more in merit although I’m going to appeal to both. So my question is… if cost isn’t the issue which program do you think is better and why? The goal would be for her to get a decent job in the industry and possibly avoid grad school? TIA

It seems like the programs are very similar. The difference is the location. I would go with the best financial aid.

Just my personal feeling, I can't explain why.

We just visited Ithaca online. Students passionate, happy with what they are learning, say their professors are dedicated. Possibility to have a concentration either in photography or film. Not hard to change one's major, but I don't remember if the student was in a BS or BFA major. Usually, in a BFA, you have to start from the beginning if the school consider the film program as a 4 years program like in a conservatory structure. But it looks like it's pretty flexible at Ithaca. They let you think about your major. Location can be bothering for students who don't want to be too far from a big city. LA study abroad. I don't know if the school has its own campus there. They have their own channel.
Emerson : well known in the industry. The Evvy, I don't know if other schools have that kind of "Oscars" evening. LA program. The school has its own campus there. They have their own channel.
So, as you see, the two schools are pretty similar, except perhaps for the Evvy. But location is very different. Countryside, city.
