AFI. It's funny because everyone keeps congratulating me for being waitlisted. lol! I guess it's an accomplishment. I'm not feeling all congratulatory about it myself. Could get in?? Would rather have known I got in. Especially when you don't know how many are on the waitlist and where you even fall on that list. I could be the last of 10 so....like I said, not feeling like there is anything to celebrate. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

So I got waitlisted at AFI for their producer concentration and accepted into UCLA's Producer Program.

I ultimately decided to go to UCLA as I am not a person who likes "maybes"

It would be helpful if the people who got into multiple schools could tell us poor wait listers where they decided to go when they make a decision and what their concentration is. Thinking about making a chart haha jk

USC rejected, interactive media and production
Chapman - no word

My personal life took a bit of a left turn this past month, so the fact that I don't have the thought of moving on my mind is okay for the moment. If I don't get accepted to Chapman, I plan to apply for USC's spring semester start. Though I could have resubmitted my app, my instincts say to work on rewriting my personal statement and submit some more ideas for films.

And if nothing comes through, it's on to round two of applications to all programs again. Discouraging, but it's always going to be hard in this industry...just gotta keep working towards it.

Sorry about the rejections, when did you hear the rejection from USC interactive media? Is it through email or snail mail?

I got mine through snail mail almost a month ago. If you're still waiting, I'd email the admissions office, the interactive media people I communicated with were extremely pleasant to deal with.

I turned down my spot at Columbia College Chicago and the Follet Award. And I am soo happy that benselt got it the next day and was able to accept there! I also gave up my waitlist spot for USC. All in favor of - wait for it - AFI! I will be a directing fellow in August.
