Interviews - Acceptances - Rejections - Waitlists 2013 (2 Viewers)

guessing there are other things in store for erin...we'll all probably be writing for her, when she gets job as studio boss :)

Hahah! (: Let's all keep our fingers crossed that this week I hear. (I mean I still have to wait for Chapman, they are really behind the other schedules this year.) :)

I'm twirling my thumbs waiting for USC and UCLA's Producing Program to make a decision. I believe that USC already made decisions and UCLA...who knows. Either way, it's a waiting game for me. Here's to the best, whatever that looks like?

Hey everyone,

First, thanks for sharing all your experiences. While not 100% reassuring all the time, it's really nice to find all this solidarity.

I applied for the Directing MFA at AFI and haven't heard back yet. Anyone else know if they're still doing Directing interviews? I just got that Financial Aid letter in the mail on Saturday which threw me for a gut-wrenching loop.

Also applied to UCLA, USC, Columbia and NYU if anyone's interested in swapping stories. Thanks everyone!

Here's what I've heard thus far:
Cal State Northridge: nothing, yet
UCLA: ZONK email arrived this AM
MLU: Accepted

Here are mine:

Ohio University: nothing yet
Depaul University: nothing yet
LMU: nothing yet
UNC Greensboro: Accepted on Jan 31st
Wake Forest: Accepted on Feb 11

Ohio was my top choice... but a scholarship to Wake Forest's Doc MFA program, successes of past students, and student run production house there have swayed me in that direction.

Hi All, this is my first time in this forum. Been hanging around in the UCLA Fall 2014 one...

I only applied for MFA Production/Directing at UCLA and nowhere else. Haven't heard anything yet.
I'm curious, does anyone else in here applied to just one school?

Congrats on Wake Forest, the program looked very good! And it seems you can get a lot of experience before you graduate, which is no small thing, plus they give you scholarship. All sounds great.

Hey !
My name is Lucas, I'm finishing my degree in Management at the University of Warwick (3rd year). I applied in producing only for the following universities.
Here is my list:
-UCLA: accepted
-AFI: interviewed 2 days ago
-USC: no news, didn't do the first interview
-Chapman: no news

OK another update!
USC waitlisted
UCLA interview in two weeks
AFI interview complete
SCAD accepted
FSU interviw complete

this waiting is killing me...

Same no news on Chapman but I have made inquiries and hopefully things will be happening soon.

This is the most intense part of the whole process! Has anyone heard from UCLA, CalArts or LMU? They seem to be extremely quiet...also how does the UCLA process work, do you have to be interviewed or will they accept without an interview like USC?

I have heard people getting word from LMU but I haven't yet and I know others haven't. I emailed questions to them and no bite. So, yeah they are rather quiet.
