AFI Applicants 2025 (1 Viewer)

Where does it say 100 applicants per interview cycle?
It doesn't say that but it does have the "How many are admitted who were interviewed?" rate for applications logged on the site. It's in the additional statistics for Supporting Members section.

So, if you don’t get a notification by today it’s pretty much over?
Not at all. See this page:

Notifications can go on for a while.

I noticed in the email after submission they said that interview invites go until late February. I don't know if they've always said that but it was emphasized that the invite period would be that long this year.

I’m wondering when will the directing program stop sending invitations. Feel like chances to get invited after this week are pretty unlikely.
I doubt it. It's best not to worry it seems like they go into detail with the applications so that will take time :)

Anyone who interviews, would love to know what kind of questions they ask!
Congrats! Check out past AFI threads:

Recent lurker, first time poster. JUST received my interview invitation like 15 minutes ago (for directing). Was truly spiraling all week reading this thread. Anyone who interviews, would love to know what kind of questions they ask!
I was feeling like this as well! I thought I wasn’t going to get it. But just got my interview invitation for producing! To anyone who still hasn’t received a email, breathe! There’s still time to get it. Good luck!
