No I don't think so.. I don't think they've stopped sending invitations. Notifications go on for a while if you see past logged applications and threads.

i wouldn't overthink it just yet! past years have shown interviews being given out quite late. i found a couple current students through instagram, and they've all been saying different things compared to what i've been reading on reddit, or what's being talked about in this forum. best of luck

Do you mind sharing what they’ve been saying?

How do you feel it went?? Hoping good things for ya
Honestly not sure lol, not bad definitely but they didn't really ask about any of my favorite films or influences, which I was certainly ready to talk a lot about haha. It seemed more in the vein of just trying to get to know me, and they asked less questions than I expected—either a good thing or a bad thing I guess LOL

I felt similarly about mine; I did get the chance to speak a little bit about influences and process, but kinda wish they'd asked me more! It was a friendly, chill conversation primarily geared towards getting to know me on a personal level.

Interviewed for Screenwriting this week. Interview was exactly 30 minutes, very relaxed and informal. Maybe a little too informal on my end. Talked a lot about writing, vision, and my other artistic pursuits. I'm also currently in the industry in another field, so they asked why film school etc. Really lovely people.

Anyone know the number of screenwriting fellows interviewed vs admitted?

I had my directing interview yesterday! It was a super friendly conversation, focused a lot on my personal life and goals as well as specific questions regarding narrative choices in the films I submitted. I was really impressed by how familiar with my application they were, bringing up things that were really small details from some of the submitted essays. They truly were very kind. Good luck to everyone!
