Brooklyn College vs Ithaca

My daughter got accepted to both Brooklyn College and Ithaca College for her BA in film. She's hoping to become a director.

Ignoring cost, which of these schools is better? Which has better resources, professors, alumni connections, etc.? I'd appreciate any personal experience.

Has anyone heard of Brooklyn College MFA? I got into Brooklyn. I really want to go to Tisch and like NYC a lot, but since I got rejected and Brooklyn seems to be a lesser version of Tisch, I'm wondering if I should attend Brooklyn instead. I'm also waiting to hear back from CalArts (Film and Video MFA), Chapman (Directing), and LMU (Directing). The other school I got into is SAIC.
