well fellowships and scholarships are awards that do not have to be repaid, I am still searching other options like loans. Unfortunately most film schools are extremely expensive.

Northwestern I believe. @Alexa P. is doing an article that hopefully has them all soon.

There are some. Chapman is not one of them.

Hey thanks for sharing! I’m also on the waitlist and anxiously waiting to hear back. When you mentioned they said “there would be updates by the end of the week,” do you know if they were referring to possible admissions decisions or just general updates?
Haven’t received anything yet, so just trying to stay hopeful and figure out what to expect. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Hi, I also email them and here is the reply：
Once we review how many applicants have accepted their offers of admission, we will reach out to prospective students on the waitlist. The soonest people will find out is next week; however, spots can open up as late as the first week of school.
Should a spot become available, we will promptly review the files of all students who responded to their waitlist offer and decide who to admit at that time. Please rest assured that we will keep you informed of any updates. You are welcome to contact us if your circumstances change or you decide to withdraw your candidacy.
So I guess only students who get the spot will receive updates.

Thank you for reaching out. The admissions committee is currently reviewing waitlist responses following the April 15 decision deadline. There is nothing more you need to do at this time. We expect to provide updates by the end of next week.

I guess what they mean is the soonest update will be by the end of this week! Didn’t get any updates yet
