fall 2026 film school applications - Has anyone gotten interview invites yet?

I haven't heard anything from AFI yet but, from reading the forums from previous years as applicants mentioned when they got notified about interviews, I'm assuming they won't start sending out interview notifications until next week.

it would be a good sign if you received the email for scholarship. they only send out this for those who get to the interview round.

The scholarship emails will be sent out after the one inviting you for the interview tho right???

Can you see if they viewed your materials yet with the analytics on YouTube or Vimeo?

Can you see if they viewed your materials yet with the analytics on YouTube or Vimeo?

I was able to see there are 2 views on each of my unlisted materials on Vimeo (via analytics).

saw a view on each of my unlisted materials as well!! although for my moving image sample it looks like they stopped watching halfway through, which is a bit disheartening.

I wouldn't overly worry about it. It might be a program they use to try to hide views or something. On the short I made for the directing project it showed 2 views 100% in the analytics as of even a couple days ago. When I looked this morning the analytics looked wonky. It shows 1 view 100% now and another view that starts at like 1 minute and lasts for 5 seconds.....stops and then views again at like 1 min 30 for like 5 seconds and stops again. Really weird. I just assume it's probably some software thing attempting to mask views because it definitely showed 2 views 100% previously.
