Hey,guys.
I'm so confused by the situation that i haven't received a email about schedule my interview or i'm not selected to interview. What should i do now? Just wait? I'm so so so nervous!!

I know the thread title is for MFA, I just wanted to confirm these interviews are for the MFA and not the BFA interviews. My son is waiting for an invitation for a BFA interview, and he has not heard yet.

Filmfan2013 - your son and I are in the same boat. I haven't heard back yet either. These are MFA forums but I assumed that since MFA applicants are hearing back, undergraduate is soon. I know one boy who was rejected last night, so hopefully the rest of us hear soon.

Had my interview on Saturday. Thought it went pretty well. The individual portion of the interview is really based on personal statements, resumes, etc.

And one note: I was VERY impressed by the facilities, faculty and philosophy of the school. Going into this trip, I was leaning towards LMU regardless of my admission decision at FSU. Now, I really think I would attend FSU if I were accepted.

I'm going to take my interview next Friday. It's my only interview,whick makes me a little bit nervous. What did they ask you? What's their philosophy? Thank you for your help!

It's awfully quiet in this thread. How did everyone fare in their interviews. Whats the status?

I officially got my letter on the 19th of March.

Congrats on the letter @apocalypticus!

Interviews just wrapped up this past weekend I believe, and I haven't heard anything as of yet, but then again I'm not expecting good news (my interview was a hot mess). They said the first round of emails should go out beginning of April, so hopefully we'll hear something next week.

@apocalypticus congrats! Did u apply for production?

I had a Skype interview last fri and I would say it was a pretty bad one for me so not too sure if I'll be hearing something good from them.

@edzbit - yes I applied for production.

My Skype interview was equally bad but that did not stop me from getting in.

Any news? They should have taken decisions and have sent out emails by now. Those who have not been selected are usually sent a notification about a rejection or a waitlist.

This thread is not nearly active as some others. Probably because not many people who have applied to FSU have found this great website.

I'm also getting radio silence. My theory is that they sent out the first round picks, and are probably offering additional spots as people reply back with nos. Some people may sit on their acceptances for a while before deciding, so we may be waiting for a while for a final decision.

@dreamingoutloud3 did they give you a deadline to reply back by? That might give us a good cut off date for when to expect news.

Last year at this same time, the student services co-ordinator was kind enough to notify everyone that they had selected the first round of people and whoever was still under consideration was notified as well as the ones who were rejected. She replied to all my queries unlike the people at Columbia and UCLA. Have they done the same thing this year?

Normally wait listed folk will get some word around the end of April. I remember since I couldn't attend last year some lucky guy was sent out an invitation around the end of July. This time things are a go for film school. Am feeling nervous, excited and having withdrawal symptoms altogether.
