Need help choosing between CSUN & Pepperdine (B.A. Transfer)

Hello! I am deciding whether to drop out of Pepperdine (just transferred into my 1st semester here and still waiting for advisors to transfer credits while I’m a week behind on work deciding what classes to take), finish required GEs, and lower major division requirements for CSUN’s film program enter in the fall as a junior (I’ll be behind a year and hopefully my portfolio is good enough to get into their film production program so I can graduate in 2027) or stay at pepperdine, be in even more debt, take even more useless GE’s than CSUN but graduate on time tho and I do have the internship option too.

I don’t know if it’s possible to petition for film classes I took at my previous uni (UCSC) to count for higher division requirements at CSUN. I also live closer to CSUN as well. I just hate the idea of possibly extending school for another year, but also I already made the mistake of going to UCSC for 2 years. I don’t know if Pepperdine’s film program is worth it to go into debt even more.
