NFTS MA Screenwriting 2026

No not yet. At the end of my interview they said we would hear back this week but looking at previous years it does seem unlikely.....
With me they said as soon as possible - I guess they've realised it might take longer than they originally thought.

How did your interview go btw?
I feel like I messed mine up a bit

Yeah mine felt like a complete mess I stalled on every question and felt I was rambling a lot without saying much.... I was super prepared for them to ask me all kinds of stuff about my screenplay but they only had a single question about it (but did seem impressed thank god) and the rest was to "get to know me better". They were all very nice though so it's hard to tell.

Reading this makes me feel so much better! I felt like my answers were not super cohesive and occasionally full-on fumbling. Of course I'm dissecting every answer since the interview. We are writers after all, it's a crime that we don't get a 2nd draft. LOL! We probably all did better than we think. Stakes are just super high. Please post when you hear back. I've been waking up in the middle of the night and checking my email.

Not that this will get results quicker but in the past people have played a screenwriting game in the lounge forum if anyone wants to create one to pass the time. (As in you write some of a screenplay and someone else writes more and so on). Can't seem to find any of the old versions of them though at the moment.

But the place to create them would be here:
