Peter Stark Producing Program Fall 2016 (1 Viewer)

@mmwhatever My first interview lasted about 30-40 minutes give or take. My second interview that I had last week was exactly 10 minutes.

For everyone else: My second interview was timed to 10 minutes. It was very informal and flowed like a conversation just like the first one. I know everyone probably knows this, but just incase you are freaking out, don't stress too much about it :) They asked questions mainly regarding your resume and essay. Other general questions they asked were:

1. If you don't get into USC what will you do?
2. What do you see yourself doing down the line?
3. Film or TV? Then they asked what is your favorite film or show (kind of froze on that one because I watch so much TV and couldn't pick one lol)

How's everyone doing?

Extremely pessimistic at the moment, have convinced myself that I won't be getting in and ordered some GRE practice books for applications to other programs this fall. On the bright side, I'm hyped about a couple of promising projects I'm working on, so I'm at least creatively occupied and haven't been glued to this forum as much as I was before.

How bout you?

Congrats to all of you that had the second interview!
and to all of you that didn't get second interview like me! :---(((
I know its depressing but don't take it personal, Keep moving forward!!!

God Bless and Good luck to all of you!

Ace

So not getting a second interview means you are definitely not in?

Hey Tim,

I am not sure about how the interview process works at USC but for acting in order to get an acting job you always get a call back. We will find out soon enough, I think in the next two weeks if we needed a call back to play "USC Grad students" next fall.

Keep your head up!

In my case I have a plan B. Travel the world for the next 6 months then come back to LA and reapply.

Best wishes!!

Hey Indus have you heard anything back yet? Any lurkers out there who have heard something too?

@Timothy Marc Hopper it would seem that atleast two Starkies have been accepted around the same time last week. Not everyone has added their info so cannot be sure if that is all.

Woah that is super early. Thanks for the info. I was just looking at the old one from last year.

Wonder whats up with no contact on the forums by the accepted ones. Is there a way to tag them?

Will be calling USC tomorrow to confirm the kill.

Anyone out there know more information?

So Sad, Today I received the rejection letter :-(((
Add me to that spreadsheet. 1 first interview, no second interview, REJECTED!!

I want to cry....

Hey Jose, do mind me asking when you submitted your application and had your recommendations in...well before deadline or at the deadline.

Hey Timothy, let us know what they say...I got offered a promotion at my agency and have until Friday to accept, knowing that all candidates have been reviewed and decided upon would make my decision so much easier, bittersweet I guess.
