Producer Program Applicants 2010

AFI started sending acceptance emails today and I was accepted! It seems that UCLA will take longer than expected to notify...

Hi! I was just accepted into UCLA Producers Program! Who else? Looking forward to meeting potentially future classmates!

Still waiting to hear from Columbia and NYU (had interviews at both). Have you heard anything back from NYU? I thought they'd notify the dual degree people the same time they notified everyone else, but no one has posted anything about it on here, so I'm wondering if they notify dual degreers at a later time.

There's not really a lot of dual degree info on here from last year, either.

What about you? Are you going to attend UCLA?

I was admitted into Stern on the 10th of March (ten days after my interview) and into Tisch on Monday 15th, although I interviewed for them a week earlier than with Stern. They might have rushed it with dual degree candidates to keep up with Stern, since many people will base their decision to attend on whether they get into both schools. I hope you'll be hearing back from then soon. Good luck and keep us posted!

Yeah, I never really thought I had an outright chance at getting into Tisch since Stern couldn't find or never received my application, but thought maybe I'd end up on the wait list or something. Columbia's been my #1 choice since around December anyway, though, so I'm not upset about it. How were you notified? Via phone?

Do you have any idea where you'll go?

But you can get into Tisch and not Stern. I want to move to the West Coast and USC and UCLA have always been my first choices so one of those. Not sure which!!

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping will happen, but I still haven't heard anything from Tisch, so...

Los Angeles is really fun. I was there last April for my fiance's cousin's wedding (actually in Pasadena) and I really enjoyed it a lot and could see myself living there. Especially after such a long and crappy winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope like this one. :)
