UT Austin 2013 Directing

I haven't seen a thread for UT Austin Directing MFA 2013 acceptances, so I thought I'd start one. I visited the RTF building last November, and wanted to go back - if I get accepted to talk to the professors more. Just wanting to see who might be going so we can build a network type deal.

Haven't heard anything either...UT was tied for top choice for me. My heart is already breaking - let's hope there is still more good news on the way!!

Here's the email I received today when I asked, very politely, if all the acceptance letters have gone out (because I'm nervous):

Dear Paige,

I understand. You should hear from us in the next week or so. Thanks for your patience.
Char

...interpretations?

Char is cool. I met her a couple of months ago. No need to get all interpret; I'm sure if she said next week then that's probably when the letters are gong out.

FINGERS CROSSED YA'LL!

Good luck to everyone who applied! I'm a current third year Production-track MFA at UT. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to DM me. I'm happy to help however I can. UT's a great school!

hi...does anyone here know how is the MFA Program at university of central arkansas? I got accepted but I am not sure if it will be worth a name at all once I am out in the market.

I just called Char at UT Austin, and she said everyone who got in the graduate program already received their letters. If we haven't heard from them by now it means we are on a wait list and should hear from them next week(presumably with a rejection letter).

Thanks, @Jennifer.hightower2. Did she say how they were notified? No hope that any of us just haven't received it (acceptance letter) yet?

They send out the hard copy and emails as soon as they find out. There is still the wait list, but I don't know when they are letting people know about that. I think you can check your application status too; but, mine just says it's being reviewed by the graduate committee...

Oh god, me too....my status remains in the reviewing process...
