Might not say yes to it though because I have another school in mind depending on if I’m accepted there or not !

Also I have 1 month and half to give a final answer.

hi i was also interviewed yesterday and i was asked about the same question as you.
and at the end i asked when will we get the final result, they all said not sure, maybe several months later. It's kinda weird since they don't know the process. And they just said we tried to rush through now.

I was interviewed on 3/10, too. They asked the same questions and a couple of follow ups. I was a bit shock when they asked to pitch another story from my application. I wasn’t told to prepare a different pitch, but I immediately came up one…If they need several months to make a decision, I probably not going to wait.

Received one as well for narrative about an hour or so ago. Check your junk/spam folders y’all.

I can’t imagine it’s so different from documentary, but does anybody know of any posts/threads here with interview questions specific to the narrative interviews?

Check previous application year threads as well. But as a general rule be sure to be able to talk about the work you submitted, your experience, your favorite films and directors, your style and vision, why film etc. Also be ready to ask them questions about their program. Some people say it's really more of a conversation.

It’s from TFT Admissions. Essentially, the letter informs me that I’m recommended for admission (the documentary program). Once again, I fished the email from spam.

I have decided to decline the offer that was made to me. I honestly would have loved to attend considering its curriculum and just its legacy and opportunity, but it is unfortunately a bit too much money for me and I have been accepted in the UK with a scholarship (NFTS).

So I hope this will give my place to someone else !

A bit sad as I am writing these words, UCLA is such an amazing school and the teachers and the admission team was of tremendous help. Also, every students attending the program that I have been able to contact told me how absolutely amazing the program was and how much of an opportunity it was especially for the one who wants to work at Hollywood. But I know it is for the best and NFTS is such an amazing school in Europe.

This will probably be my last message in this forum, I hope everyone a lot of success in the course of their study !

Just found out yesterday I got an interview for narrative directing because I got an email that I haven't picked my time slot yet, though I never received the original email. I was pleasantly surprised cause it's already mid march and I just assumed I wasn't getting an interview. It only gave me options for this Saturday or Sunday which doesn't give me much time to prepare.

In my confirmation email they said I should pitch a short film in under two minutes. Does anyone know other questions they may ask? It also said I'll receive an email with more information closer to the date - will they send out specific questions?
