2016 Interviews- Acceptances- Rejections (5 Viewers)

From the spreadsheet it looks like LMU doesn't do interviews? But both Columbia and Northwestern do, so my plan is to interview in person for both schools if I have the opportunity. I was out of town for a couple days for family and managed to avoid the constant refresh syndrome! But I'm on pins and needles again now that I'm back home. Like you said @Paul J. , every single email is a disappointment! I'm working for a well-known documentary company next week that's based in NYC, so every time their number pops up, I get a little excited thinking it could be Columbia too! Even if I know they will email over call.

ETA: I'm binge watching Prison Break between jobs to distract myself. So far it's a good series for that!

@IndecisiveElle Long time no see! Welcome back to our jolly group! Hopefully you will be too busy next week to stress out on wether or not every e-mail is an acceptance / rejection letter.

It's interesting to hear that UCLA sends out their interviews regionally. I'm in Texas so I wonder where I fall; probably somewhere in the middle. But ughhhh, the waiting is killer.

@Amanda I just noticed we applied to the same program! Yay! I thought I was the only one on the forum this year that applied for WPTV rather than the screenwriting program at LMU. :) It has a high acceptance rate compared to the other programs I applied for, I imagine because it's more specialized. It's also well rounded between men and women. Good luck!

@Paul J. Whoo! :)
I have to say...the waiting game does get little easier once someone has finally made contact with you!

thanks @katavi08! I still have yet to hear back from any of the schools so I am slowly going mad.

Yeah, Columbia is kicking ass this year in terms of getting their interview notifications out early. Wish the other schools would follow their lead. :p

They gave two options - 25th Feb or March 10th.

@russki_D503 don't go mad just yet. Many schools send out info in waves and as stated Columbia is surprisingly early this time around.

And @IndecisiveElle remember to blink every now and again :)

Haha @Paul J. Right? My excuse is that I need to do some start paperwork for my documentary gig next week. ;) I may need some wine and yoga tonight.
