Hi guys.

Thoughts I'd drop a line and let people know that I received an email and a voicemail from LMU Monday saying I was accepted. I applied for the writing/producing for TV MFA. Hoping to hear from the other schools soon as well!

Congrats on the acceptance! And, yeah, there are a bunch of TA-ships available. Most are $12k for the year, I believe (some might be more but I'm not positive).

Updates on Screenwriting MFA admissions:
UCLA says middle of March
CS Northridge says end of March, beginning of April (this is their new MFA pgm, formerly an MA pgm. Summer semester added, and class revisions)

It seems like the admission process for this year is slow..

Columbia - Nothing yet.
NYU - Nothing yet.
CCC - Nothing yet.
USC- Nothing yet.
UCLA - Nothing yet.
Syracuse -Nothing yet.
Emerson - Nothing yet.

But the one thing I am sure of is that there is hope. Though I might not get into any of those schools, life will lead me where I am supposed to be for a greater reason.

They sent an e-mail saying my application was done being reviewed and I had to log into my application and scroll to the bottom and open up the letter. They just started sending them out today so don't sweat it, you've got till the 15th

I applied to the London Film School to get into the MA in Screenwriting and got a phone interview but had an extremely unpleasant interview process, a really bad time leading up to it. By the end of it, I was very very glad I didn't get in. It seemed really good on the outside but once I started asking questions on what was happening to my applications, and questions of my interviewer, it was very unprofessional.

I've also applied to get into NFTS for the MA in Screenwriting but have yet to hear back from them.

I have received an offer, which I have accepted, to go to the Central Film School London for their BA in Screenwriting, which seemed to have more of a structure (especially compared to what I've read and heard in the interview about the MA at the LFS) and grounding (especially amongst some industry professionals). They asked me some really really good questions and I could connect very well with the Director of the school who interviewed me.

ucla says 2nd week of march...remember they have over 1000 apps to review.
