Peter Stark Program 2010

This is really weird. I've not received any rejection emails or waitlist letters.

But obviously from the list of internationals, I probably did not get into the course this year ( since I'm from Singapore) .. Well.. I'm hoping for a waitlist...

Hi everyone, first post here.

cindykhoo - I'm in the same boat as you. I interviewed in person last year, submitted early, got a call from the crew last week, and nothing this week (no letters, emails, calls - and I'm in California). Anyone have other information about the way things are shaping up? Seems strange.

Witt, what's your status? Would hate to see the mayor of this forum not get in - I assume you were the Australian?

I called USC. ALL accepted applicants were already notified by phone.

All applicants who are rejected and/or on waitlist will be notified by mail. All letters are already mailed out.

When I got the call on Wednesday they asked to confirm all of my contact info to send out the hard copies of the letters, so I suppose it is possible that they had not started sending out any of the top 35/40 letters until that day (acceptance, waitlist, or rejections) -- so if you haven't gotten anything yet that may be why.

Hi Starkies! I just found out that I've been accepted into the Film and TV Production program. Looking forward to meeting you guys in the fall. :-)

Hi guys!! I found this blog today, unfortunately!! It would have been of great help having people going through the same. Tha waiting as you all know, has been ENDLESS.
I would like to know which of you made it into the Program, since I have been accepted, and would really like knowing more about the people with whom I will be spending at least, the next two years!

For those who didn't make it I wish you all the best of luck!

Best,
Carmen (From Argentina)

Hey All,

So like some others I'm coming to the table a little late. I was wait-listed originally but I just got the call today that I am officially a part of the fall 2011 class.

Best of luck to everyone and don't give up, in the arts persistence is the name of the game!

To those who interviewed, one quick question from a potential applicant for 2012... I saw on the Stark website that interviews are scheduled July-December and apparently fill up. Do you have to submit an application before you schedule an interview? And at what point do applicants typically call to schedule them?

Hi,

You do not need to have submitted your application to have an interview. I called around July to schedule my interview which took place with Henry in October.

Hope that helps!
ZZ
