Is anyone planning on reapplying? 👀
I feel like this is where my head is at rn. Currently wondering if I'll apply next year for screenwriting or maybe see about moving into CNF. I'll probably apply to programs for both if I have enough time to write a new feature and some CNF excerpts. I know I still have a few applications out there but I feel like the sooner I can start for next year, the better lol.

I assume there's gotta be somebody on that list that also applied to AFI, NYU, or another big program that might also get an offer from one of those schools, and since Texas is a great program but doesn't have quite the reputation of AFI, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a couple people that turned their Texas offer down. Then again, I know a lot of people that got rejected from every program except their favorite, even in competitive MFA programs, and there might be a lot of people like that admitted too, where they only got in to Texas. But since a lot of programs haven't released their decisions yet and won't until March, it's hard to say.

I’m also waiting on NYU! I didn’t hear anything so I’m kind of worried? I wasn’t quite as into that program so now I’m wondering if they picked up on that in my SOP and I did myself a little dirty. Would have been cool to have gone 3/3 on interviews though.
Also waiting on that one. From last year it looks like the interview notifications were on different dates.

Sadly I just received my rejection letter via email, but it was nice to finally hear back. So happy for all the people that got in, you’re going to have a great time in the program!!!
