Waitlist Support Group 2023

Let me know what you said- I planning to reach out tomorrow
Hey guys, just wanted to update everyone. I was waitlisted for Fall 2023 but just got off the waitlist this morning for the upcoming semester. Anyone have any idea when scholarship info might come out for USC? I doubt they will give me a lot but I recently accepted and paid my enrollment deposit for NYU. I prefer NYU but I'm risking a lot financially going there so if USC somehow miraculously gives me generous aid then I may have to rethink it.

Regardless, USC waitlist people shouldn't lose hope because I will most likely reject the offer so those on the waitlist should have a spot open up!

Congrats on both! Not sure which program you've been accepted to, but someone on a USC thread said they attended an admitted students event at the end of last month, and it was said scholarship funds had been disbursed. Never know though!

Makes sense but I imagine they must have some for waitlisted students too when they get off the waitlist. But if not, I wouldn't be too surprised. Thanks for the info!

Congrats!! Which USC program did you apply to? That's really great news 🙂

Hey all,

Just hopping on here again to ask if anyone has experience with being waitlisted two years in a row by the same school?

If so, I was wondering if schools generally give application fee waivers for applicants that intend to apply for a third time?

Also, would they allow us to use the same letter of recommendation for a third time?

(The school I've been waitlisted at is Columbia).

Thanks!
