I’m MFA screenwriting through RTF. One of the select 7. Earlier when I posted, I selected the wrong pull-down box. But I’m 99% sure I’ll be going to Austin. Just gotta visit and tour in April to be sure.

Just Curious, and want some opinions but what reasons do you think that this program is the "Megatron" of film schools? Im looking into film schools and would love to hear your position.
What does this school have to offer that others don't?

I believe that at the end of the day you go to film school ( if you go) to help you figure out what kind of artist you want to be in that craft and what your art specifically will look like. UT offers resources that most filmmakers would love to have in a complete package (attending school or not)

Congrats to you!! I believe what is supposed to happen does. Our fate always depends on ourselves. And who knows, maybe we will be chillin. I'm making a wish list of cowboy boots as a way to prepare!
