my bestie got in and they got some email today for an admitted students zoom and they could see who & how many people were invited to the zoom, I'm assuming they're committed since it's past the 15th
Gotcha okay this is really helpful information. Do we know how many spots they are looking to fill this year? If there are 23 students already im maybe thinking maybe not a lot more.

an update for anyone waiting, I don't believe they'll be accepting anymore people unless something unexpected happens with the current admits. they've filled the 24 spots they were looking to fill.
I mean... isn't that the point of the waitlist? Naturally 24 spots are already filled, but that's why we were waitlisted, because one of them might drop out despite paying the deposit because of life circumstances until the full amount is due. Otherwise the logic of the waitlist makes no sense, nor past histories of people being accepted in July

That’s what I’ve been thinking too. Hopefully we’ll know soon but I agree

Waitlist gang: anything yet? Anyone declined their waitlist for another program?

I counted and I think there's 10 of us here. Wonder how many are usually waitlisted in total/admitted off waitlist. Tuition fee is due in August I believe, though not sure if anyone (esp international) will hear that late

Expect the worst, hope for the best!

yeah i called them and they said they have a full class so unless someone drops out, it ain't happening. they also said this goes on right before classes, that's when they send the rejection. also found this piece of info from the 2017 dramatic writing thread on this site someone called up then: "So... they got 246 applications... 76 get passed on to read further. From that 76 they choose 24 who got in and 20 waitlisted." --- soooo besides the 10 I counted on here on the waitlist, there's another 10 out there probably fml
