On my portal the old check-list is gone and there is a new form, that I have submit as an international student, that states: now that you have been admitted, we need some additional information... I guess it's save to assume we'll get the letters today

I think they are manually updating the portal - cause when people were writing about the changes in their portals yesterday mine was still intact. So, i guess, if yours is still not changed - they might've just not gotten to it yet.

I applied for directing emphasis, but never got an interview request. I’m expecting a rejection letter, but do you guys think that an acceptance is still possible?

The official line is: "Not getting an interview doesn't mean you're rejected,' so wait till the last minute.

Keep the faith! I don’t think anyone who applied for the directing emphasis has gotten an official word. They did say an interview was not exactly necessary for acceptance. Does your portal look like this minus the checklist?
