Columbia SOA MFA Directing & Screenwriting Fall 2025

Do we think all the writing for film & television acceptances are already out through those calls? Does it have anything to do with who you were interviewed by?

I felt good about my interview but haven't received a call and my interview wasn't with David.

It seems like everyone who interviewed with him did. I haven’t heard back anything and I didn’t interview with him either.

Thank you!! :) In the email it said the direct costs would be ~86k a year, so I would be paying around 36k in tuition per year (which is still a lot!) However, I live in the area and was hoping I could save money by commuting or something. Not sure if that will be possible though because I don't really know what the structure of the courses will be like, but I know commuting would be feasible for NYU!
I would go to NYU…Columbia is going through some things right now.

This wait is dreadful.

But it is kinda fun, isn't it? I would need something else to wait for once this is done.
There are some fun threads in the lounge with things to do to pass the time. :)
