CSULB/CSUN for out of staters

Hey guys,

I'm planning on applying to CSUN and CSULB's film production majors for Fall 2011 and was wondering if anybody had any information for a person coming from out of the state.

I hear CSUs prioritize California residents for admissions, so I am looking for any help from people who have been admitted to these schools that weren't for California.

I'm hoping to transfer in since I'll have my Associates degree when pretty soon. My gpa is about 3.5.

Think I'll get in?

I know CSULB has stricter application materials for the Film major, but I've been doing a lot of photography for about five years as well as done my fair share of creative writing and things so I'm more worried about getting the shaft for coming from out of state.

@kmgphoto and @fliplink,
any luck? What happened to both of you? I'm considering both of these schools as well...
if your still on this site, thanks in advance
