Urgent help needed

Hey guys, I'm an international student from India. I'm looking for colleges that can still accept applications. To tell you my background, I'm 22 studied electrical engineering but lost interest in it. I'm an absolute beginner to the realm of filmmaking. Although, I do have some writing experience. I'm pretty late for college deadlines for USA. My questions are -

1. I need to know list of all colleges that are still available for admission ( public or non profit) in Usa only.

2. I have shot a video portfolio but with no real professionalism and it is fairly immature which I believe won't be accepted anywhere ( it is a type of video which most folks used to make with their families during the days of childhood. In a nutshell, I reckon it is terrible ) So, are there any legitimate institutions that accept profile without portfolio or accept immatureish portfolios with no actors, no real production value , no real story line, shot from android smartphone ( I mean the type of institution where almost every application gets accepted, but please don't mention for- profit institutions. I'm explicitly looking for public or private non-profit)

3. Should I apply for MFA program or BFA program. I've consulted the admission councellor in certain universites and they say you should consider MFA cause applications with every level of filmmaking experience are welcomed but I want to know your perspective.

Can't say that I personally have enough info to answer your 2nd and 3rd questions. But to answer your first, Ohio University is taking applications until February 15th. Best of luck to you mate.

Film schools are supposed to teach you how to make films so you don't really need to be great to get in, you just need to have some promise and real interest. Your essay / interview is probably just as important many places. I'm not sure but if you don't already have a bachelor's degree and because you are still very young you might want to focus on a BFA program. To follow up on the earlier post my son goes to Ohio University for his MFA and it is a good school with a diversity of students. However don't put all your eggs into one basket. You should probably pick several (maybe 4) places to apply as it will be hard to predict who will accept you.
