Whoa, in the Screenwriting thread, apparently people who applied to USC are able to log into the Camel site:

Which according to threads from years past means that you've been admitted into USC. So people have started getting admitted into USC it seems. I can't log in, welp, can anyone else?

Well I wasn't totally freaked out until right now. Haven't heard from any of the school I have applied to yet (USC, UCLA, LMU). Has anyone who applied to the Stark program been able to get into this site?

I'm so paranoid that the office could have made a mistake. Trying to contain my excitement.. at least for now

I'm Pretty sure USC doesn't interview most applicants (definitely not for screenwriting), so you don't have anything to worry about.

I applied to USC three times before being accepted. I was also accepted at Loyola Marymount and Chapman when I finally got into USC. I was rejected by UCLA and UT. It's an intense process but just don't give up!

Hey Sush! I have the same situation with NYU... a couple hits for a few minutes each, which was definitely disconcerting (Columbia watched the whole thing several times). I've checked past year threads and last year the last people to receive interview invites received them around 3/12. So no giving up yet!

I love how everyone dives into the old posts to see what happens when. I'm glad that this site is a helpful resource for everyone.

Just received a rejection from NYU's Directing MFA... I assumed this would happen since I applied to some directing and some screenwriting programs.

So far:

USC (Writing for Screen & TV) - Accepted
NYU (Production/Directing) - Rejected, No Interview
Columbia (Screenwriting/Directing) - Waiting
UCLA (Production/Directing) - Waiting

Thanks! My system isn't perfect, but there's a method to my madness. I do feel more confident posting my rejection after receiving the acceptance first, but I also want to help anyone else who may have been rejected realize that it's not the end of the world. In the end, you can only go to one school (learned that from previous threads on this forum lol).

The admissions process is long and scary, but at least we're not alone!
