FSU

I was informed of my acceptance on Monday, and I had applied for the film school, so does that mean that I was accepted for the film school? The email I received didn't specifically say that the admission was for the film school, it only mentioned the university. Has anyone else been accepted? Does anyone have any opinions about the school, it's 4th on my wish list, and I'm still waiting to hear from the others.

i wanna get in, but if you didn't get a request for an interview... you're not going to,according to this e-mail:

"The application process is complete and those applicants who will be interviewed were called
to set up an appointment. All other applicants will be notified by mail that they were not selected to interview."

*i didn't get called for an interview :(

yeah, that letter is just refering to admission into the university. I applied to FSU and I got deferred from the school due to my test scores, and rejected from the film school..I got my rejection letter a few weeks ago. The way it works is that no one knows for sure if they got into the film school or not yet...what they do is out of all the applicants, they cut a certain amount, then the ones they didnt cut made it past the first round, and they get an interview. Then I believe they cut more people after that, and then theres another round and they make a final decision. FSU only accepts like 20 incoming students into the film school, so it's really competitive. Good luck! :D

I applied to the FSU Film School and I got an interview, it was Feb 17. The interviews are going to March 9 I think... sometime in early March are the last ones. They call you 10 days before to schedule an interview, so if you didn't get called yet... i'm sorry!

People won't find out if they got in or not until May 1st (the final day) but you would have been scheduled for an interview. I got one for BFA as transfer. If you didn't get in because of your test scores to fsu you should try going to a community college and transfering into fsu as a junior that's what I did and it's cheaper.

If you didn't get an interview or rather a call for an interview, the letter telling you you're not getting an interview is on it's way. I just got mine.If Chapman doesn't want me then it's off to UCF I go... hear it doesn't suck.
