Hello:) I'm Anna nice to meet you.
I'm 24 years old and after being a preschool teacher for four years, I realized it was not for me. I ALSOO realized that I've finally figured out what I want to do (to some extent) so I decided to go back to college. Currently, I'm studying in a community college in CT with a media production major, due to get my associates in the winter of 2024. It's been a long journey to say the least but I'm enjoying the program so much and can't wait to continue.
I realized my love for film probably came from my dad who made me rewatch movies 100 times when I was younger. I didn't understand then but I do now. I love the aesthetic part of films, watching beautiful shots makes me very happy. I also like the screenwriting aspect, it was one of my favorite classes and also live TV directing, which is very challenging but also so fun! I'll be taking a filmmaking class next semester (winter).
I hope you guys will reply to my post about your experience in whatever higher edu. programs you're in, how you like it, and so on! Specially looking for people that have left the US to continue elsewhere. I'm hoping to go somewhere in Europe, with LFS being my top choice (of course lol) and another one I was looking at is ESRA in France with their 3 year international program. I just haven't seen much ratings/reviews on that. THANKS FOR READING!!<3
