Does anyone know if UCLA interviews everyone that applies or just the ones they’re considering more so?

I think that it is a requirement to get an interview before being admitted but I'm not sure!

Thanks current cohort. I’m freaking out because I haven’t gotten a yes or a no yet and it seems like everyone else has. I emailed admissions and they said decisions are on going. Idk. I was in the professional feature program last year so I was hoping that would help me. Idk why they haven’t processed me application the anticipation is killing me

I haven't heard back yet either, but I was told I wouldn't receive any updates until the middle to end of March at the earliest, so maybe it depends on when you had your interview or which section of the program you are being considered for (the feature track or the television track). Either way, as someone who applied as well and hasn't heard back yet, I just want to say congratulations to everyone who has gotten in and good luck to everyone waiting to hear back! Sending good vibes your way!

That makes me feel better. I STILL haven’t heard back. It’s driving me CRAZY. They said I was being considered for the feature track

I get the feeling the whole process is a game of musical chairs, and they're just waiting to hear back from students who've been offered admission, so they know how many more spots they have to offer. I hope you hear back soon!
