They are my last hope.I haven't received anything yet. Like wtf (?) The letter for rejections are literally the same for everyone, what's the difficulty?
They're my last hope too. Waitlisted at Columbia and rejected at AFI. Apparently they're didn't send to a lot of people yet. This is weird af. But sending good energies to you, mate, you're gonna get inThey are my last hope.
Waitlisted at NYU
Rejected from UCLA
Never heard back from USC.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I was wondering if I was the only one.
Thank you. I hope the same for you, fingers crossed. If not I'm going to make my film. And reapply. They're my last hope too. Waitlisted at Columbia and rejected at AFI. Thank you for keeping us updated, I really appreciate it!For anyone waiting to hear back on scholarships/fellowships: Apparently, they announced at the Graduate Admitted Student Day that all (or almost all) scholarships and fellowships for incoming students have been given out. (Disclaimer: I didn't attend, but heard this secondhand from a current student.)
All the best to those still waiting to hear back. I'm so sorry USC is taking so long to respond, it's extremely unkind of them to hold out on decision letters like this.
Wiiiild. Did you have any extenuating circumstances? Like a missing transcript they reached out to you about? (Happened to someone else on this thread). Or was it just out of the blue?I just received my acceptance yesterday! I don't know if this makes things worse or better for those still waiting. The letter said I had till 4/28 to commit and that it would be a $300 deposit. I wish the best of luck to those still in limbo!
Congrats!! Was it via email or in your portal? Or both?I just received my acceptance yesterday! I don't know if this makes things worse or better for those still waiting. The letter said I had till 4/28 to commit and that it would be a $300 deposit. I wish the best of luck to those still in limbo!
They did reach out in mid-February to ask about a missing transcript actually. But it was so long ago that I figured it was just them making sure I couldn't accuse them of not having all my proper application materials or something like that. Though my concern is I haven't heard anything about financial aid and there's no way I can afford to go without it.Wiiiild. Did you have any extenuating circumstances? Thank you! I just got an email exactly at 3:00 PM EST. Still waiting for my official letter in the portal.Congrats!! Was it via email or in your portal? Or both?
