I have not received a letter either! And I applied in November. I mean... 5 months to respond is FOREVER

I emailed them. The answer: “We are still sending out admissions notifications on a rolling basis. You should be hearing back within the next few weeks.”

This is ridiculous?! I'm so sorry they're messing you guys around. I don't know if this is helpful but I have to confirm my place by April 14th so SURELY that must be a hard date for them to know who's attending?!

For anyone waiting to hear back on scholarships/fellowships: Apparently, they announced at the Graduate Admitted Student Day that all (or almost all) scholarships and fellowships for incoming students have been given out. (Disclaimer: I didn't attend, but heard this secondhand from a current student.)

All the best to those still waiting to hear back. I'm so sorry USC is taking so long to respond, it's extremely unkind of them to hold out on decision letters like this.

They're my last hope too. Waitlisted at Columbia and rejected at AFI. Apparently they're didn't send to a lot of people yet. This is weird af. But sending good energies to you, mate, you're gonna get in

I called them. They said they are still sending out decisions. I said, okay but you already sent out acceptances and waitlist. She said "not all of them it's still on a rolling basis". I said..."but is that true?" and she laughed and said "yes it's true" and because I was an adult talking to an 18 year old work study kid I thanked her for her time and wished her well instead of pointing out that they already had an admitted students reception and why would they do that if they haven't already admitted everyone.

Anyway, she said hopefully next week but I feel certain they have no idea.

Wiiiild. Did you have any extenuating circumstances? Like a missing transcript they reached out to you about? (Happened to someone else on this thread). Or was it just out of the blue?

(Also, thank you for sharing! Kinda makes it worse because the hope is creeping back, but data is always helpful!!! I think anyone who prefers to wait in the dark isn't on this website haha)

They did reach out in mid-February to ask about a missing transcript actually. But it was so long ago that I figured it was just them making sure I couldn't accuse them of not having all my proper application materials or something like that. Though my concern is I haven't heard anything about financial aid and there's no way I can afford to go without it.
