USC Peter Stark Producing Application 2025

I received my acceptance letter yesterday as well (I had an interview and I am not international). I'm unsure about accepting. It's a lot of money and considering that hollywood is in turmoil does anyone else have reservations? How selective is this program?
I’m in your shoes, too. The program is definitely selective (several hundred apply for 24 slots) but selectivity doesn’t guarantee post-grad success. I want to talk to students, faculty, and alumni before making a call.

It’s definitely selective, with only 24 people getting in and you’re with the cohort throughout the two years (you only take classes with other Peter Stark students but correct me if I’m wrong). There’s some good Reddits threads about this like this one ( ) but I would say it’s definitely what you put in you’ll get out. Take advantage of resources and I think it’s worth it, but I understand you’re uncertainty with tuition and costs.

Did anyone else not receive an interview? Wondering if that means you should expect a rejection or not.

Only one user in the history of this website has reported getting in without an interview, so it’s not impossible, but exceedingly rare. This year, it looks like everyone who has reported being accepted (so far) did interview.
Yes this link has the breakdown of admits with/without interview:

This can't be accurate? How many people report their admission on this website?
Can't be accurate in terms of percentages or can't be accurate in terms of getting in without an interview?

We have 152 applications for stark in the database but that's from all years. Ideally we'd like everyone to log theirs so it's more accurate.

Only one person has ever reported getting in without an interview. Could be an error on their part in logging as it's from 2018. EDIT - it was an error from doing some sleuthing. Fixed.

It's an error in logging... here they are saying they had an interview:

Fixing data in the application. :)

Did some sleuthing and that was an error in logging - they were interviewed.

This one was an error in logging too. Fixed.

I'm cooked then lol
It's pretty darn competitive and sometimes it takes a while... See this article for inspiration:

So...you’re applying for film school, huh? I mean, that’s just my assumption. Not sure why you would bother reading this otherwise, especially with where we are currently in The Cycle of Applications. These next couple weeks are pretty much when all the major film school programs have their...
