2015 Interviews - Acceptances - Rejections

Has anyone heard back from LMU (Directing)? haha

Still have not heard a word.

I also applied, they didn't tell me anything so far.....

I am joining this forum very late in the game, however, I have been reading it and have found all of the content super helpful! I heard from Columbia's Creative Producing program with an acceptance about a week ago, and I just received my acceptance this morning from FSU (which is my number one, super stoked!)

I'm joining this forum really late but I've been reading this just about everyday lol. I applied to Columbia's Screenwriting/Directing program and LMU's Screenwriting program. I haven't heard any news back yet. Does that basically mean that I'm not accepted?

A few of us received this email a few weeks ago, and the email that came to us said it had no bearing on admission status. I'm guessing they just wanted to be ahead of the game, so that when the SCA did finally make a decision, they already had the info on hand. I filled it out and submitted it, but still silence on my end. @Travis Leake was notified that he was on the waitlist a few days after submitting his, so I think those of us who haven't heard anything are pretty much just waiting on rejection letters at this point. I'll follow up with them if I don't hear back for another month just out of curiosity, but I've already let UCLA know I'm enrolling with them anyway and couldn't be more excited about it.

Any updates on your end, Travis?

crickets

Just got a call from UCLA - accepted for the MFA Cinematography program! Now just waiting on NYU & Chapman. So relieved to know I at least got in to 1 of the schools I applied to so far…I can finally sleep at night haha. Congrats to everyone else who's been accepted!

Congrats man! I had my UCLA interview for Directing on Saturday. When did you interview?

Hi LLF,

I'm not sure about Columbia's program, but I heard back from LMU a week or two ago, so I think they are starting to contact people. It's definitely possible that you've been waitlisted for those programs? Don't give up hope yet!

The spreadsheet has one person showing "accepted after interview" for the NYU Directing program. Has anyone else heard?
