UCLA and both UT- Austin program apps are in!
Do you want to start individual threads for those maybe? I don't think they exist yet for 2017.

Yup. Usually.Maybe things start picking up around notification period?
My UCLA application is in as well
SubtleIs there an individual thread for UCLA yet? Someone should start one.
I should put a countdown on the site up. Wish I thought of that before the other deadlines.![]()
Wait did anyone else notice that LMU changed their "MFA in Feature Film Screenwriting" to "MFA in Writing for the Screen"? I've been checking their website every few weeks, but is this a new thing?
Edit: Just saw that FilmSchool's review for LMU is in Writing for the Screen. I could've sworn that, at one point, it was Feature Film Screenwriting... I was going to apply to their MFA in TV Writing because I didn't like Feature Film as much, but now I'm definitely applying to Writing for the Screen.
I haven't looked at the current LMU program info, but as far as I understood the TV program was designed for showrunners - so there is a lot of producing classes involved as well. I think you mentioned you wanted to be a show runner in the UCLA thread? Do they allow you to apply to both? I know we had users on the forum get into both of their writing programs last year, maybe ask them about the differences they've seen first hand too. You're not going insane. I made up a chart with deadlines and program names and such and at least at one point "Writing for the Screen" was labeled as "Feature Film" or something to that extent. Now I'm torn because I had intended on applying to the TV Writing because it seemed like the more encompassing program but now it seems like Writing for the Screen would be the better choice. At least I have a month to decide.

I've decided doing so quite late, so I missed admissions to NYU and Columbia, and feel pretty heartbroken about it.
you missed the deadline? I would check again.
This is incorrect as far as I can tell. Deadline has passed. The NYU Stern deadline for MBA is 12/15 though.
Had an interview for the London Film School last week. Just received an email that I'm not accepted. They said the reason was not enough experience.
