Can I ask what you mean by good cop/bad cop? One of them was being particularly critical/negative? I didn't get any of that in my interview unless I didn't notice....?? One was slightly less talkative than the other two I guess. Okay I'm gonna stop analysing things now and just wait.

My two independent writers were a big Scottish male and a dark haired English female. The female could not have been more generous in her praise of my shit, the Scotsman liked to pick holes in it (the screenplay I sent with my original application) it felt as if he was trying to see if I had the ability to defend my work/was capable of receiving and processing criticism/whether I could back the work up thematically under critical analysis. Hence good cop/bad cop.

Ah okay, I thought so! I got a bit of that but not as much as I would have liked. I'm guessing the "big Scottish male" you're talking about is Brian Ward? I had him as well, loved him. It would have been good to have a woman on the panel for a bit of diversity because I had three guys but hey whatever.

Heh, I'm not sure what I'm more afraid of - Boogs' reaction if he doesn't get in, or his reaction if he does get in...

To follow up other people's comments yup, the 'scary Scot' was Brian Ward, who is the main tutor.

I didn't really feel a bad cop/good cop dynamic; they just asked challenging questions based on their own perspectives/role in the interview and each asked certain kinds of questions.

Like everyone I'm gritting my teeth every time I receive an email...

Just got back in from an evening out to take my mind off everything and was greeted by an email offering me a conditional place on the course - am totally, utterly thrilled. Big congrats too Ceylans!

Boogs, Zara & Fromez - hope you hear from them soon, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I got the email around 7 p.m I think? Lord knows what they're doing sending emails at that time. I'm still trying to digest the news, haven't quite wrapped my head around it???
