Congrats everyone! Start an accepted applicants thread in the NYU private forum when you can. The private forums are for accepted applicants and are private so it behaves a little like a private Facebook group so everything there can ONLY be seen by people who have the NYU badge on their user name and not the public web.

No prob. If you have any questions on how to use the private forums let me know. The only people who can see what you post are members with the NYU badge. Google and everyone else can't see anything.

I have not gotten a call (except for a call I missed Sunday morning from a Texas number that I've been stressing about for the past 24 hours). However, my portal just updated with a NetId and University ID.

Based on past forums... this could mean I'm waitlisted??? I'm probably overthinking this all and need to lock myself up for a few days without technology.

Yes, they should. According to past forums, it means we're probably waitlisted. But could get still get in! I really don't know.

I can also see I've now had an ID number put on my portal! I'm not sure if that's for everyone including those waitlisted but I guess it could also mean they just haven't gotten round to ringing everyone yet?

You need to have about 5 posts and reactions and be registered for a week or be a Supporting Member to send conversations immediately. This is to weed out spammers who send conversation spam. (People were getting porn spam )

@croissant can send a PM to you though as they're a Supporting Member.

My acceptance letter just came in! And a $25,000 scholarship (absolutely have no idea where I'll find the rest of that money from at the moment ).The deadline to accept or deny is the 17th April btw
