I´ve seen many questions about the portofolio but none about the interview. What kind of questions do they ask you? its intimidating?
Anyone knows?!
Thanks.Cheers!

There is no interview. If you are applying to Tisch for the dance/performing arts programs, then there is an audition.

No interviews... no worries.

You're all wrong.

There is an interview for the grad film program. They interview about 60 (I'm not sure about the number) people, and take about half of them. It's considered a big deal to even get an interview, which means you've got along the process and survived several cuts.

The interviews all vary in structure, depending on who's in the room at the time. I don't want to get into specifics, but it's basically designed for them to see what you're about. There is definitely no way to prepare for it. So don't worry about it.

If you get an interview, contact me and I'll give you some more info about what to expect.

Cough... Well, I assumed that the majority of people talking about Tisch admission are talking about the undergraduate division. In that case, there is no interview. Nice to know that "we are all wrong" though.

I think 100 interviews is a bit inflated. Maybe not. They definitely accept about 35 students each year though. That's consistent.

Also, when I applied they didn't give us a choice of when we could interview. They called and told us a date/time. I honestly can't see how choosing one time over another will affect your interview.
