NFTS 2014

My interview was on the 21st July :)

I phoned registry today and the very lovely woman told me that they hadn't been given the list yet. She said that people would find out either this week or early next week. We will find out by email either way, so at least we don't have to wait to receive letters through the post.

Good luck!

Bakunin,

Do have any idea if she meant all of those accepted would find out this week or next week or simply those who applied for DF? I had a screenwriting interview, just wondering if I'll find out what's what at the same time as you DF folks.

Anyone hear back about a screenwriting interview?

That was just for DF I'm afraid. Give them a call, the woman is very helpful.

I imagine they will stagger the decisions slightly, so they don't have loads to do at once. I suspect they will try and get at least one of the courses done by friday though. Good luck to you both! I suppose statistically, at least one of us will get a good result :)

Hi,

I applied for the Composing for film and television course and was recently accepted on to the second stage of the interview which is the workshop starting on the 4th of august. Is anyone else going to that?

Hi! I just run into this page too. I was on my DF interview the 22... still no answer.... I´m getting so nervous :/ Good luck to those who were on the interview too. Hope that we get to meet!

Yeah, know how it feels Kate_ , I was in the reserve list for DF last year. There were 4 unnumbered reserve candidates. I don't think we will hear from them this week either. Last year it took them 3 weeks even though they said 2 weeks... Good luck and good work coming this far!

How did you find out how many reserves there were? Also did the ever contact you again to say you were definitely not in when no one had dropped out, or do they just leave you hanging? Thanks and good luck!

Because I wrote to them and asked. Just to know my chances. I don´t know if there are the same amount of reserves in screenwriting. Yeah, they just left me hanging. So after class started I knew it wasn't gonna happen. But you can be sure that they contact you if something new happens... Like if someone doesn´t pay and drops out. But like you said... Limbo...

A
me neither, and it also makes me kinda nervous, i really hope they don't favour UK citizens .(
i'm from Croatia

Actually, I'd be willing to bet that if they were to favour anyone at all, they would favour foreign students. Why? Because they pay FAR more in tuition. It's the same for all universities, colleges, higher echelons of education, etc...
