2015 Interviews - Acceptances - Rejections (2 Viewers)

Nice job on the new site expansion sir! Dig the new layout/look. Cleaner and smoother from last year.
Thanks. I even have an awesome new feature I should hopefully be rolling out next week which I'm sure everyone will love.

so after reading about https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmGradCertification/ i decided to give it a try and was able to log in. I checked "Yes, I Intend to register at USC for the semester checked below!" and the following popped up:

"Please select the program for which you intend to enroll:"
and under that, a checkbox followed by "Master of Fine Arts - Cinematic Arts, Film and Television Production - Fall 2015"

I hadn't gotten any email, nor interviewed, for the Film/TV Production MFA.
So not sure what to make of it. Hope it's good news, but not getting excited just yet.
Good luck guys!

You were accepted. Congrats!

Any more MFA Film & TV Production applicants able to log in to Camel? (If you don't know, if you can log in to this https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmGradCertification/ it means you've been accepted. They put applicants into the system before sending out acceptance letters.) I can't get in on my end, looks like it's been mostly Screenwriting applicants (with a couple Film Production people).

I'm not sure about the Screenwriting MFA, but I know the Film & TV Production program offers their waitlist applicants admission in the Spring semester if they choose.

There is no Spring admission to the writing program. The only options are: (1) try again next year, (2) accept an inferior school.

I just tried. No luck here. :(

I think FSU's interview is more like an interview, they asked many questions related to my application and they have 3 teachers to interview me, I think I didn't do very well.... In comparison, other schools are more like causal conversation, you guys can just relax and be yourself.

Did FSU do that thing where you and a group of people have to pitch a movie? Or are you an international student and did a Skype call? I'm really interested/confused with how FSU's interviews operate.

Hi there!

Applicant for USC Screenwriting MFA. For those who haven't received an email/letter decision yet, how have you been finding your USC ID #?

Thanks!

Kfutt,

You should have received an email from the SCA admissions email a few days after submitting your application. When I search "USC ID" in my gmail, it pops right up. I'm sure you could call and get it tomorrow if you never received the email.

Hey All,

I received an email today telling me my admissions decision for USC's Screenwriting Program was in, and to check this link: www.usc.edu/USConnect.

I was accepted and will be attending in the Fall! If anyone else ends up going as well feel free to contact me. Good luck!
