Northwestern Documentary Media MFA - 2024

The exact wording was they were working their best to meet the Apr 15th deadline that the Council of Graduate Schools has for application decisions and processes. I don’t know what to expect anymore tbh
Thanks for the info. I appreciate you reaching out to them. It rubs me the wrong way that they haven't seemed to send out any acceptances yet. It makes me wonder what could possibly be going on behind the scenes with them.

I have a friend who is currently in her first year in NU’s doc MFA program and she told me that she heard that the incoming cohort size was dropped from the expected 8 students to just 4. Initial acceptance letters have already been sent out and it looks like those students are still weighing their options with other schools. My guess is, if you haven’t received a “No,” you’ve been placed on a waiting list, though I still find it strange that nothing has been communicated to us

Thanks for sharing this! And all of this is so weird :(
